The day started Early. I had spent the night before prepping and packing, then woke up nice and early to pick up Nina, the manager of our Park Royal store, so that we could begin our Island Lavender Adventure.
Anticipating traffic and line-ups at the ferry terminal, we left quite early and found ourselves with some time to get a coffee (oh, yes!) and spend a little time catching up on our various mobile applications.
We arrived without incident and headed north, to our first farm – the owners weren’t able to give us a first hand tour, but we did have a wander and get a few photos to take with us. We also found a breezy spot to steal a walk on the ocean. Nina and I seem to have a love of the open water in common.
Next, we headed up island to Damali Lavender Farm. Here’s a link to their website, and we’ll report more on that once we check into our hotel and have some dinner.
